And will be able to answer the following questions:

  1. Are pregnant women at increased risk of getting COVID 19?
  2. Is COVID 19 more severe in pregnant women?
  3. Does COVID19 impact pregnancy outcomes?
  4. Can the fetus or neonate be infected during pregnancy/delivery/ breastfeeding?
  5. What should we tell women planning to conceive / pregnant women / nursing women about the COVID 19 vaccine?

Dr.  Hen Y. Sela
Director of the Shapiro Hochstein Maternity D at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Shaare Zedek Medical Center, and a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.

 About the speaker:

Dr. Hen Y. Sela is the Director of the Shapiro Hochstein Maternity D at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Shaare Zedek Medical Center, and a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.

Dr. Sela is a Board member of the Israel Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and of the Israel Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine, and the Chair of the Jerusalem chapter of the Israel Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

He has published numerous articles in the field of obstetrics, maternal health and cesarean delivery and serves as an ad hoc reviewer for multiple journals. He has delivered dozens of oral and poster presentations at national and international conferences.
