Abstract:

After the extraction of a dental element, the socket field can undergo many changes, both in volume and shape, a fact that can generate irreversible aesthetic and functional damage for future implant supported rehabilitation. Alveolar ridge preservation has the intention to maintain the height and thickness of the alveolar bone and the bone gains are notable in the region.
