Title: Treatment Planning Considerations in Full Arch Implant Rehabilitation

Abstract:

Full arch rehabilitation using dental implants is viable treatment option in completely edentulous patients or patients with terminal dentition. It offers our patients benefits from both a functional and aesthetic point of view and promises higher predictability and patient satisfaction. Several criteria need to be fulfilled to achieve a successful outcome. In this presentation I would like to highlight about the background, terminologies associated with the full arch implant rehabilitation procedure and discuss the steps involved in the diagnosis and treatment planning of such complicated cases.

Learning Objectives:

  1. To emphasize the use of CBCT and Panoramic x-ray in presurgical evaluation of completely edentulous patients
  2. Understand the clinical steps in performing the full arch fixed implant supported surgery
  3. Gain knowledge about the diagnostic techniques to evaluate cases indicated for full arch implant rehabilitation
  4. Discuss the various esthetic and functional parameters related to full arch implant treatment and understand the prosthetic steps involved
  5. Understand the challenges and to manage the complications
