Bio:

With more than 150 successful orthognathic surgery cases per year, Doctor Federico Hernández-Alfaro is the most experienced surgeon in the treatment of maxillofacial deformities (orthognathic surgery) in Spain, and a world leader in this specialization.

Doctor Cum Laude from the International University of Catalonia(UIC), Dr. Hernandez Alfaro is a Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Senior Lecturer, Chief of the Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery Department and university degree Director in Orthognathic Surgery from the International University of Catalonia. With training in Switzerland, Italy, Mexico, and the United States, he himself holds a diploma from the European Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, is member of the Editorial Board of the European Journal of Oral Implantology, member of the Editorial Board of the Spanish Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and member of the European Association of Osteointegration.

Since 1995,he manages a team of 20 professionals at the Maxillofacial Institute at Teknon Medical Centre, a model for maxillofacial surgery on a European level
